Congratulations, SSW1!

Congratulations to Southwest Semester One on a successful completion of 88 days in the field! 

With the keen guidance of Proctor Matt, the students sailed through a semester of studying Wilderness First Aid, backpacking through the Galirous, diving into the caves of Carlsbad Caverns, canoeing the mighty Rio, climbing to the top of Cochise Stronghold, and, finally, striking out on their own for Independent Student Travel Groups.

While learning the hard skills that facilitated the physical challenges of travel and adventure, Southwest Semester One developed and perfected leadership skills that bound them as a group and led to a successful and much enjoyed expedition… their shining excitement at the graduation BBQ was proof of this.
