Faith and the Environment
The National Outdoor Leadership School (Rocky Mountain) had the chance to participate in taking the Lander Valley High School earth science class up to Sinks Canyon last Friday as a part of the Faith and the Environment Event. It was a wonderful day. We were blessed with good weather. Everybody had fun learning the geology of the canyon, and about the different plants and animals that call the canyon their home. There was even time for a little bouldering towards the end of the day. Thanks to all for a great day!
Jamie from Sinks Canyon State Park takes some time out to teach us about the “sinks” and the “rise”.
