I dislike gooodbyes, but here goes…

Insert cool picture here.

Aaron and I weren’t sure what to write in this final post to sum up our internships and say farewell. We didn’t want to just write a list of the awesome projects and experiences we had (like this and this and this and this).

I told Aaron I wanted to say something profound about being here. He responded in saying that he probably wasn’t going to come up with a deep sentiment about the last three months. Instead, he had this to say, “I had a lot of fun. I did cool stuff. I learned a lot. I got to work with great people all day… Yeah, I really want to do more of this.”

He could not have said it better. My only addition is to express gratitude for letting Aaron and I join NOLS this fall through working at the Rocky Mountain Branch, helping out at Headquarters, and generally enjoying life in Lander. It was amazing.
