NOLS Grad Kate Milliken’s Counterpane

In December 2006 video producer and NOLS Wilderness Course grad Kate Milliken was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. This surprising turn of events turned Kate’s personal and professional life inside out as she struggled with increasing physical disability and emotional adjustment.

Kate put her professional skills to work documenting her often wrenching Odyssey.
