NOLS Grad Named Executive Director of American Alpine Club

NOLS graduate and former instructor, Phil Powers has been named the executive director of the American Alpine Club. Phil served as NOLS’ chief mountaineering instructor during the 1990s and also served the school as development director. Most recently Phil has worked in development at Naropa University.

Phil is the author of NOLS Wilderness Mountaineering.
