Old North State Visits NOLS Rocky Mountain
Yesterday, June 20th, NOLS Fall Semester in Baja 2007
alumni Dillon and Jantzen Wray, and fellow bandmate Bryan Thurman stopped by
NOLS Rocky Mountain. The trio make up the Asheville, North Carolina based
bluegrass band Old North State. The groups summer “Rollin’ with the
Sound” tour was enroute from Denver to Salt Lake City when they made a
detour to visit the NOLS community in Lander.
Old North State expressed how
important NOLS is to them, and they continue to provide school resources to the fans at each of their shows. The group still has a few more stops in Utah, New Mexico, and Texas
promoting their “Hello, Darling EP,” released in
April, before heading back east.
