Read the May issue of Shape, Lace Up, and Hit the Trails!

Okay, so maybe the cover of the May issue of Shape Magazine doesn’t look exactly like this, but if I had a choice, I would put Kevin McGowan on the cover. After over two decades as an instructor, outfitting manager at NOLS Rocky Mountain, and revered boot-fitting
guru, Kevin has reached a new pinnacle in his career. His boot fitting tips have been published on Shape on-line and will be in the May 2010 issue of Shape.

Makes sense – after all, spring is in the air, the birds are chirping, and antsy hikers everywhere are getting ready to lace up and hit the trails. This also would be a good time to remind all of you hikers out there to watch our boot-fitting video below.

I personally predict Kevin’s tips will be far more useful, and will achieve better outcomes than the accompanying “Look Better Naked in Four Weeks” article. But you should read the magazine and find out for yourself.
