Welcome to Lander!

Paul Ronto lands in Lander!

As I pulled into Lander Wyoming last Sunday evening, I knew my
life was about to change forever. I have never been to Lander before
and I had my reservations about the prospect of living in the small
Wyoming town for the next 8 months.

Lander’s population is just shy of 7000 brave souls, and being from
larger cities such as Chicago and Fort Collins I didn’t know what to
expect. However, I cruised into town as the sun was setting over
Wyoming’s Wind River mountain range and instantly felt welcomed and at
home.

I have since been living at the historical Noble Hotel, meeting new friends, and having a great time starting my new job. I am Paul Ronto, an intern at NOLS Rocky Mountain, and proud to be in Lander!
