About This Session

The Johnson School Leadership Expedition empowers students to utilize technical and interpersonal skills for effective functionality in the powerful and dynamic natural world; to engage in group performance and master teamwork; to identify and harness lessons that are applicable to the business world; and to develop methodologies for establishing goals, planning, building efficiency, and promoting leadership to foster successful teams in any environment. During this 9-day expedition, you will hike approximately 25-40 miles through one of the many remote and beautiful mountain ranges in southern Chile. These rugged ranges will provide breathtaking vistas of sharp spires and mountain massifs draped with hanging glaciers. In this classroom, you’ll practice leadership, learn backcountry living, mountain travel skills, and Leave No Trace camping principals.
