Get ready for an unforgettable week filled with awe-inspiring landscapes, challenging adventures, enjoyment, and camaraderie. Master the fundamentals of backpacking in one of the most remarkable and distinctive wilderness regions in the United States, all while enhancing your leadership abilities and forging new friendships.

This expedition will guide you through the stunning canyon landscapes of the Colorado Plateau in southeastern Utah. This region is steeped in human history, with roots stretching back thousands of years on the ancestral lands of the Hopi, Navajo, Ute Mountain Ute, Uintah Ouray Ute, and Zuni tribes. As you explore, you’ll navigate through sandstone canyons that create a labyrinthine terrain filled with both rewards and challenges. Some days will be spent hiking in the depths of the canyons or along the tops of mesas, while other days will involve discovering the twists and turns of the canyon’s entrances and exits.
